Our approach

Team development is not a goal in itself, but a means to increase the effectiveness and enjoyment of teams. Using the Fluent Teams approach we let teams grow and perform.

Good to know

Customisation is key. After all, every team is different and every team is always in motion. Although form and duration may differ, every team development program follows a structured process. Unique in this respect are our team coach course for managers, the team scan and the Fluent Leadership profile. We create a customised process proposal, tailored to your context and requirements. In short: first we identify the specific need, focus on getting a good idea of the context and then adjust the approach accordingly.

Building blocks for an impactful process

Depending on the question and context, we can use the following building blocks:

Principles of our collaboration

If getting the best out of your team is our promise, then that is our most important starting point in our collaboration.

Based on that:

  • we work together with the team members and manager(s) on the agreed goals.
  • we see blockages as information that helps us to expose and tackle underlying causes.
  • we determine the most suitable, sustainable solution together. Even if things get tense.
  • as soon as the team goals are clear, we make achieving them the responsibility of everyone involved.

In short: we create ownership, the hallmark of high-performing teams.

Success is a journey, not a destination.

Team development never stops, it remains 'work in progress'. Why? Because once team development goals are achieved, new ambitions and challenges arise for us to sink our teeth into.

Fluent Teams are future-proof teams. They take responsibility and create a home for all team members. Also when the composition of a team changes. The common working method is well-coordinated, tasks and responsibilities are shared, resulting in goals being successfully achieved!
